- After the course, the participant should be familiar with the lime kilns purpose and processes. In addition the participant should know the design and function of the kiln and auxilliary equipment.

- Personnel working in the lime kiln plant.
- Pre-requisites
- Basic knowledge of the pulp mill recovery cycle is recommended.
