This was the first event of its kind in North America, bringing together over 60 customers from mills across North America. The newly expanded conference program included comprehensive sessions on Wet End and Finishing processes, in addition to the traditional focus on Shoe Press and Winders technologies in years prior.

Diverse agenda covering industry-relevant topics

With Valmet presenters encompassing over 220 years of combined industry experience, the conference featured an impressive agenda. Attendees were able to explore a broader range of topics, including the latest trends and challenges in wet end and finishing processes. For wet end processes, topics ranged from headbox processes and maintenance to breast roll shaker maintenance, while finishing users could explore topics such as reel processes, threading, calender and coating.

Great discussions. AI was amazing. I'm not a big talker and am new to shoe presses. I learn by listening. Thank you."

Another attendee noted,

The open discussion and opportunities to listen and learn were very valuable.  Once again, the Valmet professionals at the Shoe Press Users Group, have provided a great, informative, and interactive learning experience.
