Cooking seminar with a focus on exchanging experience

On 8-9 February 2023, Valmet arranged a cooking seminar in Tällberg, Sweden. The focus of the event was the exchange of experience between Scandinavian pulp mills, and was attended by around 40 participants from 11 different mills.
As usual, following a short introduction, the mills themselves gave an account of their history, current status and future plans - which is always an appreciated and interesting item on the agenda. Valmet then presented a global analysis, latest references and a description of their most current product upgrades. After lunch, the afternoon was devoted to group work where the participants themselves shared their experiences in the process sections “Input/ImpBin” and “Cooking”. Group work continued on Day 2, on the subject of “Shutdown, service, start-up and operation”. The seminar ended with a Valmet presentation on process control and, finally, a review of questions submitted by customers.
