Valmet’s Retrofit Services help Wuzhou Specialty Paper’s PM11 successfully start-up

Wuzhou Specialty Paper has signed an important cooperation agreement with Valmet, under which Valmet will provide retrofit and maintenance services for the PM11 paper machine at Wuzhou Specialty Paper’s factory in Hanchuan, Hubei. Through the joint efforts and relentless work of both parties, PM11 successfully produced paper and started winding on August 1.

Valmet’s supply includes: the entire line’s MCS control system, rewinder control system, QCS quality monitoring system, key roll maintenance such as shoe rolls, stabilizers, and other key rolls. After a series of retrofits and maintenance, this paper machine marks a solid step for Wuzhou Specialty Paper in enhancing competitiveness, expanding capacity, and providing high-quality products, demonstrating its firm commitment to sustainable development. Valmet has collaborated with the customer also previously: this new order follows the customer’s winder order for the paper machine PM19, that was announced in July 2024.
