Rizhao mill:One year of successful operation

APRIL SSYMB Rizhao mill, the world's largest pulp mill, has completed one full year of operation and produced over one million adt bleached pulp. The mill has a state of the art ecofriendly and odorless production.

Improving the Nueva Aldea bleach plant

A couple of years ago, Nueva Aldea turned to Valmet to replace the wash press placed before the bleach plant. The solution was a TwinRoll Evolution press. The positive experience from that press was decisive when the mill decided to replace two wash presses in the bleach plant.

Valmet selected as the main supplier for Södra Cell’s major pulp mill rebuild in Sweden

Valmet’s delivery will contribute to Södra’s performance by significantly increasing the Värö mill’s pulp production capacity and energy efficiency. The order consists of a new continuous cooking plant and upgrades of wood handling, fiber line, evaporation plant, recovery boiler, recausticizing, flash dryer, pulp dryer and baling.

Even better pulp and yield at Smurfit Kappa Piteå

Pulp with higher quality, combined with increased yield from the wood raw material, is now a reality for Smurfit Kappa at its mill in Piteå, Sweden. The cooking process technology from Valmet played an important role in the successful rebuild project.

Valmet’s advanced screening solution significantly improves product quality at Ranheim Paper & Board

In addition to being a renowned fish box supplier in the Norwegian market, Ranheim Paper & Board also specializes in producing saturating base paper which is used for laminating in the building industry. To remove production bottlenecks while improving product quality, Ranheim invested in an OCC line rebuild which was delivered by Valmet.
