Valmet reviews its sustainability agenda: participate in the survey
May 5, 2021
Sustainability is integrated into Valmet’s processes through the Sustainability360° agenda, which focuses on five core areas: sustainable supply chain; health, safety and environment; people and performance; sustainable solutions, and corporate citizenship. This year we also introduced our ambitious climate program, which continues our comprehensive work in sustainability.
Valmet’s sustainability agenda was initially defined in 2014 and its action plans are renewed every three years. Currently Valmet operates with action plans for 2019–2021.
This year the whole sustainability agenda will be updated with detailed action plans for 2022-2024.
“Updating Valmet’s sustainability agenda will include for example reviewing latest industry analysis from sustainability perspective, benchmarks and peer reviews, corporate sustainability trends, and regulatory analysis. Receiving input from employees, customers, suppliers and other stakeholders is also an essential part of the work,” says Laura Puustjärvi, Head of Sustainability, Valmet.
All stakeholders are invited to participate in the online survey
Valmet has launched an online survey, which helps to develop the agenda by gathering opinions and point of views from Valmet’s stakeholders.
By participating in the survey, stakeholders can point out the topics that they see as the most important to Valmet as a sustainable company. The survey also enables to suggest ideas for potential future steps and give feedback of Valmet’s sustainability performance in general.
“All stakeholders are invited to participate in the survey to share their thoughts on Valmet’s sustainability. We need to have a fresh look on what is needed from us to stay as an industry leader in sustainability, so all the answers to the survey are extremely valuable,” Puustjärvi continues.
The survey will take about 3 minutes to complete. Thank you for your time and effort to participate in Valmet’s sustainability agenda review.
