Iggesund Paperboard Orders Screening Plant

Iggesund Paperboard Ltd., Workington, Great Britain, has ordered a screening plant from Sunds Defibrator to be equipped with five DeltaScreen® units. The order includes basic engineering and commissioning as well as the rebuild of four RGP 42 refiners.

The start-up is scheduled for the beginning of August 1999 and will increase capacity from 340 to 560 tons per day. The end-product is PRMP from Sitka spruce.

The order also comprises three JC-02 Conflo® refiners for the modernization of the stock preparation system for the No. 2 board machine at the plant.
