Metso chosen for a new sustainability index

Metso has been chosen for the new Kempen/SNS Smaller Europe SRI Index. 69 enterprises from 12 countries have been chosen for the Kempen/SNS Smaller Europe SRI Index. Some 1,700 European enterprises were evaluated on the basis of business ethics, personnel management and environmental responsibility.
The Kempen/SNS Smaller Europe SRI Index is published for the first time on 1 October 2003. Established by Kempen Capital Management and SNS Asset Management, the index assesses the sustainability of small European enterprises and helps them apply the principles of sustainable development in practice.
