Metso establishes a new office in Vietnam

Metso strengthens its presence in South East Asia by setting up a new company, Metso Vietnam Co., Ltd., in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The office will be shared by Metso’s all three segments, Paper and Fiber Technology, Energy and Environment Technology and Mining and Construction Technology.

The new office is located northwest of Ho Chi Minh City, about ten minutes’ ride from Tan San Nhat airport, with the city railway station in the neighboring block. In the beginning, the office will employ one person, Mr. Phuoc Mac Cam, Sales and Administration assistant, who will be happy to assist e.g. in travel arrangements.

The target of the new office is to strengthen Metso’s presence in SEA and Vietnam. The annual paper and board consumption in Vietnam is about 1.5 million tonnes and the population around 90 million.
