Valmet Corporation changes name to Metso Paper, Inc.

Metso Corporation is harmonizing the names of its business areas. Consequently, the name of Valmet Corporation has changed to Metso Paper, Inc. from the beginning of the year 2001. All other basic data of the company will remain unchanged.

The following Valmet units are subject to the name change. Also several other units will change their name by March 2001, and these will be informed later.
