Measurement forms the basis for energy efficiency

Northern efficiency

PM 5 in Stora Enso's Veitsiluoto mill in Kemi, northern Finland, is able to produce more than 700 tonnes of LWC paper per day. In 2011, the company decided to invest in the line's runnability and efficiency. As a result, the number of production breaks and the amount of broke were significantly decreased.

The Advantage DCT concept crosses borders

Last year Valmet’s tissue business passed several important milestones; tissue machine number 200 was sold to China. A total of 50 Advantage DCT tissue lines have been sold worldwide since the launch in 2005, and seven customers have bought two or more machines.
