Bale conveyor system

Valmet's range of bale conveyors is based upon years of experience in handling pulp bales. The heavy-duty design guarantees a long life, safe operation and easy maintenance. Valmet Bale Conveyor System is used in pulp producing lines (sheet dried and flash dried), as well as in pulp receiving lines for recipe handling, de-wiring and pulper feeding. All conveyors are available in a large number of variants optimized to handle different capacities, pulp qualities, bale weights and bale dimensions. The baling system is adaptive and flexible. Each conveyor is equipped with its own PLC and software that provides precision control of the bales.

Coarse screening

Valmet’s Coarse screening system removes knots, larger stones and junk. The runability is outstanding, also at upset cooking conditions.

Inkjet marker

The inkjet marker is a fully automatic system for efficient and reliable marking of pulp bales and part of a complete baling line. The inkjet marker applies high-quality printing to mark bales with company logos, pulp trademarks and other relevant information such as production data.

Slab press

The Valmet Slab Press is a well-proven and world-leading bale-forming machine for flash dried pulp. As part of a Valmet Baling line, it offers efficient operation, high availability and high capacity in producing bales that meet the highest levels of consistency for shape, weight and density.

Combi screening

Combi screening is coarse screening and fine screening in a single housing and with only one drive. This powerful combination achieves major time and space savings along with superior screening results.

Screw press

Valmet screw presses are used to thicken recycled fiber, kraft pulp, NSSC pulp, TMP and other mechanical pulps. The presses supply premium performance, easy operation and extremely low maintenance.
