VPK Group’s grade conversion in Alizay

VPK Group successfully converted their Alizay mill in France. Originally producing fine paper grades, the mill’s paper machine has been rebuilt to produce recycled lightweight containerboard grades. The grade conversion rebuild involved modifications and upgrades to the wet end and dryer section. Valmet also delivered a comprehensive automation package to the mill.

Corenso Pori: A breakthrough in cylinder surface cleaning

Corex’s (earlier Corenso) board mill in Pori, Finland is developing its production and equipment continuously. In 2019, one of the development projects was improving doctoring on the dryer section to meet the quality requirements of production.
