Short lead time of Valmet Calender Roll Cover CL-EC

PT. Riau Andalan Paperboard International, part of the April Group, offers a wide range of pulp, paper, and board products from their Kerinchi mill. They requested Valmet with manufacturing the Valmet Calender Roll Cover CL-EC (Extreme Conditions) within 28 days, despite the challenge of limited spare rolls and shells. Valmet successfully manufactured the roll cover at their Cikarang Service Center within 22 days, ensuring high quality and fulfilling the customer’s request.

Increased sizer roll cover running time with Valmet support

PT. Tjiwi Kimia PM11 in Indonesia is a high speed coated fine paper line with significant annual production, where uninterrupted reliable running time is of the utmost importance. Cover change interval can be one limiting factor. The mill chose the Valmet service experts from Cikarang to aid in taking a step forward in sizer cover running time, forming a winning team together.

Hanchang Paper Yangsan mill: Effective wax removal with Valmet Hydrocyclone

Hanchang Paper´s Yangsan mill in Korea chose Valmet Hydrocyclone SLP RC to improve the wax removal in their OCC line. Valmet´s technology was selected for its effectiveness in removing light weight rejects. Results showed significant reduction in wax, leading to fewer sheet breaks and zero wax-related claims.

Reducing costs and increasing production with new layering headbox at PT. Aspex Kumbong PM 3

In 2023 Valmet successfully supplied a grade conversion rebuild for PT. Aspex Kumbong mill (part of KORINDO Group), located in Cileungsi, West Java, Indonesia for their PM 3 from newsprint to light fluting and liner grades. The rebuild consisted of a new OptiFlo Layering Gap headbox and improvements in the press section, which led to increased production and better quality that helped to improve profitability.

Energy savings and improved runnability – dryer fabric service agreement with Siam Kraft

Short lead time of Valmet SymZS Nip Roll reconditioning

Bukit Muria Jaya PM 3 press section SymZS Nip Rolls were running for more than seven years without servicing. The need for servicing was recognized, but the challenge was the lack of spare rolls.
