Through meaningful partnerships, we support children facing critical illnesses and contribute to global sustainability efforts.

Granting Life-Changing Wishes with Make-A-Wish

For over 40 years, the Make-A-Wish® Foundation has granted life-changing wishes for children diagnosed with critical illnesses. Valmet is proud to have supported this mission, helping bring joy and hope to children across the USA, Canada, and Mexico.

In 2023 and 2024, Valmet employees participated in several fundraising events, including the 20th Annual Walk/Run for Wishes at Truist Park in Georgia and the Harris Teeter Cornhole Tournament in North Carolina. Their efforts contributed to the foundation’s ability to grant 503 wishes, making a lasting difference for many children and their families.

Expanding Our Impact with One Tree Planted

As we conclude our partnership with Make-A-Wish in 2024, Valmet is excited to embark on a new initiative with One Tree Planted, beginning in 2025. This nonprofit organization is dedicated to global reforestation, supporting forest fire recovery, land restoration, and habitat protection in key regions around the world.

Valmet’s support will help plant trees in multiple U.S. states, six Canadian provinces, and Mexico, reinforcing our commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility.
